ISE 2026 – Inspiration, technology, and personal exchange
Integrated Systems Europe 2026 has once again demonstrated why it is considered the world’s leading trade fair for AV and systems integration. Manufacturers, integrators, technology partners, and users from all over the world gathered in Barcelona to take a look at the latest developments in the industry. For us, ISE was one thing above all else: a place of inspiration, exchange, and encounter.
Our CEO André Brinkmöller, team lead project management Nicole Horst, and our two technical experts Marcel Redegeld and Ludger Teders were there. Together, we set out to discover trends, classify technologies, and have many exciting conversations—always with an eye on how these could be meaningfully combined with our vir2cloud®.

Hands-on technologies
As soon as we entered the exhibition halls, it became clear that ISE thrives on diversity. Large LED walls, new display technologies, high-resolution screens, transparent displays, and flexible formats dominated the scene. The whole experience was complemented by immersive worlds, smart control solutions, and increasingly powerful software.
For us, the focus was primarily on new screen technologies and displays – in other words, the hardware that makes digital signage an experience. It was exciting to see how brightness, resolution, energy efficiency, and form factors are evolving and what new applications this is opening up, for example in retail, corporate environments, and public spaces.
At the same time, we always kept an eye on the big picture: How do hardware and software interact optimally? Which displays are suitable for which use cases? And how can content be played back in a flexible, stable, and user-friendly way? ISE offers the ideal setting for this – not just to view technologies in isolation, but to experience them in interaction.
Exchange on equal terms
In addition to technology, personal interaction was a key element of our visit. Discussions with manufacturers, partners, and other industry representatives focused on current projects, technical requirements, and future developments in digital signage and AV solutions. It is precisely these conversations away from the big stages that add value to ISE.
Whether spontaneous at exhibition stands or planned in the meeting area, the dialogue was open, honest, and characterized by mutual interest. The exchange on how software, content, and displays must interact in practice to turn technology into real added value was particularly valuable.

Our conclusion
For us, ISE 2026 was a successful mix of technology, inspiration, and personal exchange. We are taking away many impressions, new ideas, and an even clearer picture of how screen technologies and digital signage are evolving.
Not every innovation will immediately become a project, but every idea broadens our horizons. That’s exactly what ISE is for: making trends visible, facilitating discussions, and bringing together people who want to take digital experiences to the next level.
We would like to thank all our discussion partners for the open exchange and are already looking forward to the next ISE.
