vir2cloud® on tour: Australia 2025 – innovation meets partnership
For many years, numerous companies and institutions in Australia have relied on our vir2cloud® platform. This makes direct exchange all the more important to us—because only together can we identify trends early on, shape innovations, and further develop our customers’ digital communication.
That’s why we traveled to the other side of the world again this year: to Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth. We brought with us exciting new developments, artificial intelligence, monitoring innovations, and, of course, a whole lot of teamwork.
Brisbane – AI on the campus of the future
Our first stop took us, together with our sales partner The CI Group, to Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane. The university has been relying on vir2cloud® across its campus for over ten years – including for:
- Studenten information
- Wayfinding systems
- Event calender
- the HiQ-Wall, Australia’s largest interactive media wall
The focus of our visit was to showcase our latest AI features. The team was particularly impressed by our MediaFeeder, which allows students to actively “post” content themselves.
Training & Strategy:
We discussed content automation and new workflows with Andrew Nicholls, who is responsible for enterprise content.
In a conversation with Matt Guppy, the new manager for digital technology delivery, we discussed digital strategies and the intelligent integration of our monitoring system into the QUT infrastructure.

Melbourne – Experiencing LED innovation live
We then traveled on to Melbourne to visit LEDPoint Solutions, a specialist in the operation, maintenance, and support of LED installations. Here, the focus was on training new colleagues – in a practical, interactive, and future-oriented manner.
Together, we also set up the new showroom and conference room and put our conference software into operation. At another meeting with the CI Group at its headquarters in Melbourne, discussions centered on AI innovations and the simplification of billing processes – an important step toward rolling out projects even more efficiently.
Adelaide – Creativity, energy, and banking reconnected
The following week began in Adelaide at the local CI branch. Together with branch manager Roman Duras, new team members were trained and customers were visited.

Martins Brand House
The creative agency will increasingly rely on vir2cloud® for new projects in the future – tailor-made, brand-strong, scalable.

Beach Energy
AI features and automation were also a focus for the energy supplier.

University of South Australia
The platform is up and running—now we’re thinking bigger: campus-wide deployment, centralized control, and clear governance standards.

PCCU – People’s Choice Credit Union
One of Australia’s largest credit unions continues to build its communications on vir2cloud®. To this end, we provided intensive training to six new employees, who are now ready to roll out their public communications more efficiently and across multiple channels.

Perth – Customer focus through service excellence
Finally, we visited the CI Service Point in Perth. Here, the focus was on discussing ongoing projects, providing practical support, and, of course, taking a deep dive into the latest vir2cloud® features.
Conclusion: Why this trip matters
- Direct exchange creates real added value
- Innovations arise from dialogue with users
- vir2cloud® remains at the forefront of digital communication with AI and automation
We would like to thank our partners The CI Group and LEDPoint Solutions, as well as all our customers who gave us such a warm welcome. The discussions, ideas, and visions motivate us to continue rethinking innovation every day.
Australia – we’ll definitely be back!
